Beyond Behavior serves children and adolescents ages 2–18. Therapy is individualized to each child's strengths, interests, and communication needs. While we have a special interest in supporting autistic children, ADHD, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and social communication, we welcome children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication differences.
-
At Beyond Behavior, we believe behavior is communication. Instead of focusing on changing behaviors, we work to understand what's behind them and build the skills that help children communicate, connect, and thrive.
Our therapy is neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based, and individualized to each child. We celebrate each child's strengths while supporting growth in communication, emotional regulation, executive functioning, self-advocacy, and social connection.
We also believe parents are an essential part of the process. By partnering with families and providing practical strategies that fit everyday life, we help create meaningful progress that extends far beyond the therapy room.

Sessions are held in our therapy office in Allison Park, PA, just north of Pittsburgh.
Virtual parent coaching sessions are also available for families who prefer to meet from home or need additional support between visits.

The first visit is all about getting to know your child and your family. We'll spend time learning about your child's strengths, interests, communication, and any challenges you're experiencing. Depending on your child's needs, the session may include play-based activities, observation, conversation, and informal assessment.
Most importantly, there's no expectation for your child to "perform." Building trust and connection is our first priority. By the end of the visit, we'll discuss our observations, answer your questions, and talk about the next steps together.
-
Beyond Behavior is currently a private-pay practice. This allows therapy to remain individualized and family-centered without the restrictions that can come with insurance requirements. If requested, a superbill can be provided for families who wish to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider.
-
Absolutely. With your permission, I'm happy to collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, physicians, and other members of your child's team. Working together helps create consistency across settings and ensures everyone is supporting your child's goals in meaningful ways.
I also believe parents are an essential part of the team, and I value open communication throughout the therapy process.
